Week #1 she had fatigue, muscle aches for which she used Advil, lightheadedness, and some depression.

Specifically the part about "muscles aches for which she used Advil." I want to put another comma in there, but it doesn't look right to me.

If your account is vertabim, you cannot input brackets like that. I would put this:

Week #1 she had fatigue, muscle aches, for which she used Advil; lightheadedness, and some depression.

I have run into this kind of thing and I was always told to use the semicolon/comma format in these instances.

If you are going to use the semicolon option, it should be -

Week #1 she had fatigue; muscle aches, for which she used Advil; lightheadedness; and some depression.

You use a semicolon to separate items in a list that already include commas. The semicolons go after each item in the list.

I like to use paretheses when commas don't seem to provide the clarity I'm looking for - especially when the dictator makes a remark inside of a list!

The thing with grammar is, is if what you choose to do in any particular sentence does not change the meaning of the sentence and/or patient care then basically it is correct, unless of course it absolutely does not make sense and even the least experienced MT can see that it is incorrect. Any of the above advice is good advice.
