don't believe fibroneuropathy is a word.
Well, is "fibro" a word? Obviously not. - So how can it be two words? nm

FYI - MT

Fibro is a word part for fiber, so it gets combined with another word (fibromyalgia, fibrocystic). There are some really good medical terminology books out there that outline this so that you can better help yourself troubleshoot these things. Also, a good medical dictionary is a must if you are going to do MT.

Combining forms - are the wood root and a combining vowel that enable two parts to be connected. An example cardi + the combining vowel (o) can form words relating to the basic meaning "heart" such as cardiology. The majority of the time in medical terminolgy (o) is the combining vowel. If you speak the word without the combining vowel it is much more difficult to speak and thus the combining vowel is used mainly to make the pronunciation of the word easier.
fibr/o/neur/o/pathy is a combination of the parts fiber/neuron or nerve and disease. Deciphered from back to front = disease of the nerve fibers.
