cardiac note - reading MRI results - beatlesfan

His MRI was similar to his echocardiogram, which clearly shows pulmonary regurgitation, but with a moderately s/l "plus" dilated red ventricle, and moderate pulmonary regurgitation.
I can clearly hear plus, but wondered if this was correct or + sign?? thanks!

I'm thinking about your sentence, and I realize that it doesn't make sense to me that "pulmonary regurgitation" comes up twice. Could one of them be something else, like "mitral regurgitation", perhaps?

[ In Reply To ..]The cardiologists I work for use "+" frequently, i.e. mild+, moderate+, etc. We use the "+" sign but you might want to check your account to see if they want "plus" spelled.

I almost sent a report to QA. The only reason I didn't was because it was a high line count document and I couldn't risk the possible submission rate due to its high line count. Not very wise choice of how to grade the submission rate MQ. I don't like sending a document to the client with blanks, but there comes a time when self protection kicks in. PM likes the FTR low QA submission rate. We will see how PM likes it when the clients starting noticing ...
