Need help with word in cisternogram results - Stuck Inside

I performed a cisternogram on her and it was consistent with normal pressure hydrocephalus with ______ persistence in the ventricles, >48 hours. The spinal fluid was negative.

The word sounds like "pate-zer" or "kate-zer"; the quality of this dictation is crappy. Any ideas??

It does sound like "tracer" but is "tracer persistence" the right wording to use? I know maybe resistence would make more sense, but he is clearly saying "persistence"? Im really not all that familiar with this type of medical literature.

48-hour delay images demonstrate **persistent tracer accumulation** in the same area that corresponds to CT findings of a low-density area. No tracer retained in the ventricular system and minimal tracer is noted in cerebral convexities. These findings were compared to the most recent MRI. These findings are consistent with a cyst corresponding to the MRI findings, which has communication with CSF, and no communication to the ventricular system.

I almost sent a report to QA. The only reason I didn't was because it was a high line count document and I couldn't risk the possible submission rate due to its high line count. Not very wise choice of how to grade the submission rate MQ. I don't like sending a document to the client with blanks, but there comes a time when self protection kicks in. PM likes the FTR low QA submission rate. We will see how PM likes it when the clients starting noticing ...
