I remember the first time I heard this funky word - lol

The English speaking, no-accent-having doctor thought it would be clever to speak it putting a French twist on it, gurgling the "d'orange" part of it. I thought he was choking.

Same doctor still thinks he is cute by accenting, in an over-exaggerated way, certain "ethnic" words and names. I wonder if he does it in real life and if others find it as annoying as I do.

way, as it is a French expression "peau d'orange," what means "skin that looks like the skin of an orange."
He cannot say "peau" in French and then "orange" in English.
Or did you think it's Latin or Greek?
