Can someone enlighten me on Ediscript(Escription). What is Editscript 8.0 and the older version. Can someone give me some general information regarding Editscript and what is the newest version and the oldest version,etc--thanks ...

One of my accounts is going to New Versions. If I understand it correctly we train when our Main account goes on it. In the meantime does that mean we won't get any work from that secondary until we are trained on New Versions? This probably should go to my STM but I bet she is eyeball deep right now. Thought someone else could help. Also, input from those who have converted on how they like it, how long it took to get up to speed, etc. would be helpful. Shoot ...

I've read posts that suggest downloading older versions if the newest version causes trouble with files (which it is). Yesterday I tested with a really great company that I hope to work for. Would somebody be willing to tell me a little bit about EMDAT? I have never used the software and from what I've heard, it is very simple and productive. I find it to be just the opposite. Is dictation completed using a foot pedal or is it geared for keyboard controls only? Is word-expander software utilizable with EMDAT. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I am currently using EMDAT as my platform. My company recently upgraded from 4.95 to 4.96. I keep getting a Microsoft error every time I try to upgrade. I called EMDAT, and they told me it was because I use a broadband Satellite internet connection??? They can't help me. Now what? I just started a job using Emdat Inscribe, and my footpedal I ordered hasn't come in yet, so I have been using the function keys to play audio. I have been doing this for about a week now with no problem, but today I log in to work though and the keys are no longer working. The only way I can get the audio to play is by using the mouse. I would suggest you update to the newer version - EmdatQA

Emdat QA version must be same or higher than MT - EmdatQA2
