what versions of Editscript are there?

I am an IC working on EditScript version 9; however, I want to take on another IC job but it works off of EditScript version 8. Is it possible to have both of these installed on my computer to work off of? ...

One of my accounts is going to New Versions. If I understand it correctly we train when our Main account goes on it. In the meantime does that mean we won't get any work from that secondary until we are trained on New Versions? This probably should go to my STM but I bet she is eyeball deep right now. Does anyone know if there is any difference in EditScript MT 9 and EditScript MT 9.12? If there is, how can we update this? It seems that my new place of employments line counting is not the same as my old place of employment. I have read to many articles on MT stars to get my smartype to work with Editscript.
