I am looking for info on this platform. Any info you can provide would be great. Are you able to look up previous reports with this platform to search for blanks? Is it user-friendly? Will my Infinity foot pedal work with it?

I can't see previous reports, Infinity pedal does work. - I like it

Having worked on all major platforms and various, proprietary ones, I would not recommend this one. You can't speed up the voice. The speed control only turns it into a chipmunk but does not speed up the actual length of the dictation. There are also no magic keys if using with speech rec. In other words, if you have a 10 minute dictation, the minimum you will listen will be 10 minutes, and no shortcuts with speech. You won't be able to make any money.

It wasn't a possibility when I used it. That means that you will have to listen at regular speed, even if the person is talking slow. That is one of the major ways MTs make money, through speeding up the dictation.

I can look at old reports. They're automatically stored in a file; same with audio files. Infinity pedal works with it. I only do straight transcription, and I can speed up the dictation. It does create the chipmunk effect, but it definitely speeds through the report faster.

I just installed this on my computer. Wow, I was dumfounded. I have trained to learn Escription, DocQScribe, Pscribe and Chartnet. I really don't think I am that stupid to learn a new platform, but this has to be the most complicated program I have ever seen. I did not give up right away -- that is not in my nature. Needing a general consensus on whether or not you like the DQS platform...what about it's ASR generated reports. In your experience, which platform would you recommend an IC/MT suggest a physician's office utilize? This would be probably for four docs per office or less and one to four MTs.
