My company uses Crescendo, and I like it. Of course, I'm new and this is the only platform I've worked on, but I haven't had any problems with it yet. It's easy to use in my opinion. I don't have problems with it lagging or anything like that. I do take that back. I have had some minor problems with the voice bar. In the middle of a dictation, sometimes, it will just quit. I have to save my report and exit out of crescendo and then back in. It will then pull my report back up, and the voicebar will be working again. It's only happened about 3 times in 3-1/2 months.
Hello all, have joined new outfit. Anyone willing to share any tips or suggestions for Escription platform? I'm told it is Word based.
I'm curious about text expander use. The information mentioned Autotext, Autocorrect and other tools embedded in Word, but also mentioned certain issues related with text replacement.
Any suggestions or tips will be much appreciated. ...
I am looking for info on this platform. Any info you can provide would be great. Are you able to look up previous reports with this platform to search for blanks? Is it user-friendly? Will my Infinity foot pedal work with it? ...
Throwing this out to any and all--MTs, management, office staff, programmers--regarding the Crescendo MedRite XL platform for transcription. Went to work for a company recently using this (their one and only mode for the work to be completed) and in my multiple decades as a highly qualified and sought-after medical transcriptionist I have never worked so hard for so little.
Mangement's response to my outcries regarding the pitiful line counts on their program/accounts is simply, "Jus ...
I just installed this on my computer. Wow, I was dumfounded. I have trained to learn Escription, DocQScribe, Pscribe and Chartnet. I really don't think I am that stupid to learn a new platform, but this has to be the most complicated program I have ever seen. I did not give up right away -- that is not in my nature. But after struggling for about 2 hours, I finally gave up. Honestly if they tried, I don't think the maker of this program could have ma ...
Also how about the benefits, especially insurance - do you feel they are a good deal for the price? Do you feel the way the PTO adds up is beneficial to the MT? Does anyone know anything about the account that they are hiring for right now? Thanks for anything you care to share. ...
Need to know any info ASAP on I think its called Global Info Systems or something like that out of Texas. Lots of clinic work, but low low line rate offered. Need to know about management, stability, VR reality, workload, response from tech support, etc. Also, are these clinics in India? Thanks for any help! ...
It isn't easy to get off some of the spam and phone call lists when you click for more information about some of these courses. I've found that for me, it isn't worth it to get that information if I am giving up my privacy. Some of these people are relentless! You can't get away from them once they get your information.
There is one in particular that makes sure you hear from them every day in one form or another. They become your best friend, even if you weren't lookin ...
I am testing with GIS this evening, does anyone have any information on this company.
I am currently working with TTS, they do not even pay 4 CPL for editing. I feel like this business has become a legalized form of slavery. The only business where with over 10 years of experience, your pay goes down. ...
Needing a general consensus on whether or not you like the DQS platform...what about it's ASR generated reports.
I personally like the platform and think the ASR reports aren't as bad as some platforms I have been on...I just hate the rate of ASR pay. Though it is estimated the production increases with ASR, for most, that simply is not the case and, per a study I found online, quite the opposite. Please see results from that independent study below.

In your experience, which platform would you recommend an IC/MT suggest a physician's office utilize? This would be probably for four docs per office or less and one to four MTs. I am hoping to "sell" some local private doctor offices with this form of EMR so it may save my current small job and also allow me to obtain more work. Also, I would appreciate any suggestions on how to "sell" this idea to them.
Thank you for any help you may be able to share with me. ...
Small and independent and was wanting some opinions/information on the best platform to use. I am currently using one now but was curious about webchart, chartnet, and scribemanager. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! ...
Was wondering what platform this company uses, does anyone know? It is Inscribe out of Kentucky. I've talked with two different people at the company and they are saying they don't know what platform they use. However, a Dictaphone 15-pin foot pedal is required, so would that be ExText? Thanks in advance.... ...
Anyone like dictaphone for VR, or prefer Escription? What is the average lines per hour anyone makes with either platform? I am relatively new with VR and need to know if it is really worth the 0.4 cpl? I was told 400-600 lines an hour will probably be my average, closer to the 600 ...
