hmmmm, let me see now..... Is this the same company that consistently was OOW for months a while back that couldn't give a *blank* about my paycheck and my ability to feed my family and pay my bills? Is it the same company that took away my paid holidays, reduced my pay twice, requires I work on holidays, does not approve requested PTO, yada yada yada? Ya, I'll get right on that volunteering my extra weekend hours for you sweetheart. As soon as you give me back the money you took away from my pay and give me back my paid holidays. Let me know when that's done and I'll get right on it for you. Psshtt. Yes, NOW they need us and see value in our work. SO PAY US FOR IT, YOU JERKS!!!

they play. They keep you on a roller coaster. Just as you think things are getting better work-wise, something else happens and you plunge down that hill into oblivion. Then, you go back up that hill, once again, you inevitably go down. It just keeps happening until you can't take it anymore and you stop believing the ride is ever going to end, so you quit.

anonymously, of course, so nobody gets fired. you'd have to use a different computer with a different IP address, fake email. a bit of extra work and trouble, but would be worth it in satisfaction to tell off the managers begging for OT. may as well send a copy to the executives as well.

I'd do it, but that's just me.

I don't do OT - not for what they pay. Let them do it, that's why they get a bonus. - mt2

I have been in your shoes. If you run out and beg for more accounts they blow you off meanwhile you are trying to get your landlord to understand and other bills then when they need you you are suppose to drop everything for them with that threat of losing an account or how they will be fined. So glad I got out!

What makes me laugh is when my supervisor sends out an Email that says you must respond and promise "this amount or that amount of OT." Ha. I NEVER respond just because it says RESPONSE REQUIRED.

Maybe if you stopped tourturing MTs and threatening to fire them you would have your TAT under control. No one wants to work for Nuance. Apparently there are many MTs out on "PTO" this week and we are drowining in work. She's literally begging for us to work OT this week to get the backlog down before the weekend.
