QA/QC at Nuance is a joke. A comma not inserted-points-, a dumb word that even a doctor could care less about-points-, really? What happened to caring about the quality of the medical field terminology and so on. I am the MT and I am the proffesional person that is qualified to make the physician sound better than he speaks. I do NOT need a QA or QT telilng me how to do my job. And as far as Fiesa goes? I am not checking it again either. I have spent all day upset because of the stupid stuff I read I read on it. I am not perfect but I am better than that.

I totally agree with your post. It's another way to control the MT's $$$. I drove myself nuts over FIESA. Now I just do the reports. If they don't like it, fire me. I could care less.

I know I am highly cynical, but I truly can't figure out why they would treat experienced, good MTs this way unless their end game is to run off the experienced MTs and then they can truly claim there aren't any US MTs to hire (which would be true, none that they can hire for slave wages and treat like dirt).

Hope I am wrong, just a thought I had.

Yes. Over the years I have seen our services get cheapened to the point of being a joke. I am so glad this is not my survival job but just for extra money. We go to college for this and they pay third-world wages. I wonder what they make at the top which is what we should be making. I wager to bet most of them do not even know how to do medical transcription.
