Is it true that Nuance sends their work offshore? If so, that tidbit of information may save our jobs.

It is no secret Nuance is a large OS company. - Where have you been?

hardly a secret...when you load SPARK...their message service...it is immediately populated with every sanjay and ragu in india...you know in case you want to chat. Yeah they offshore big time. that is the least of their transgressions

And they point fingers at the opposite party and blame them for the fall of the US economy. They all had a part in it by passing laws to make it legal to ship American jobs offshore.

Hoping this information will shock powers that be into halting their association. I doubt it but we are a tiny rural community and that kind of thing could have neg effect on rep of hospital. Or at least we hope.

No offense, please, but stop hoping and take the unemployment, if it is offered. Find something else. Anything else is better than Nuance. Nuance gets all the accounts like yours because of smoke and mirrors, lies, lies, lies. It sickens me to think about it. I went through it. Take my word, you don't want to be associated with this company for even a brief moment. Spread the word to your fellow coworkers. Had I been so informed, I would have ran like a bat out of ____.

Take it as an opportunity to get out of MT - altogether. At least you"ll get UI.

in outsourcing. It is up to them whether or not they allow the work to go offshore after that, so they will be fully aware if it is as it is their decision. Make plans now for yourself, don't sit back thinking they'll be outraged and pull back. They made the decision to outsource to Nuance based on financial matters unfortunately. Good luck.

all of a sudden you get new accounts on weekends... that means they've offshored the weekend work. Then the weekday work for "good" dictators starts to disappear and all you're left with is the trash. The Indians got all the rest of it, sorry.

I've noticed that over the last month or so I've been getting crap dictators. Don't know if it was because of offshoring or becuase I'm an older MT and they're trying to get rid of me. Well guess what, it worked!

You know it's going offshore when you've had - nothing to do for 2 whole weeks.

Thanks so much for taking all the work in my primary and giving it to offshore so that I had to go to my secondary We-Don't-Speak-No-Good-English account! Thanks for helping me lower my line average with that awesome secondary and raising my QC average! Thanks for making me sign in and out 10 times yesterday to see if there was work! Someone is spreading LIES. QC and QA are both done onshore. I know because I work in QA. We audit both offshore and onshore MTs, not the other way around and our managers are onshore too. When Nuance bought Focus, they changed all that. This info is not a secret. Just ask HR. It seems the TLs need to be educated on this as well. ...
