Nuance is hiring? I run out of work all the time....and I laugh to think I would recommend them to anyone I actually know personally, much less someone I don't know.

Fiesa got me again...I very irresponsibly typed, "Appears to be..." instead of, "He appears to be...," and Emergency room cours...missing the "e" and was dinged well below 99%....how does humiliating myself by signing off that I have reviewed errros like that make me better? It doesn't. I HATE it...

What about the QC1 reviews...why do I have to get a score on those? If I send a note with many blanks because it is inaudible and the QC is able to fill some in...why do I have to get a % grade for those???? Got one today with a major error because I had not picked a visit ID...it was a discharge summary and when I edited the note, there was no visit ID in the system yet...again, why send me a major error????

Soooo frustrating....would not recommend them on my FB page unless I was paid....and that makes me laugh outloud....

I would not recommend Nuance to my worst enemy - it is a terrible company

I do not get QA or audit scores on a program that is of all things called Fiesa. What? Who got paid to name an MT QA program after a misspelled Latino holiday?

My spellcheck never picks up misspellings in capped headings...not sure why...I have to be very careful because I am always typing headings that VR does not add. Most of the time I type it in lower case and then capped the entire heading so that this does not happen.

My point was that missing an "e" and not typing the word "He" at the beginning of a sentence put me at 98% for the report....I didn't hear the "He" and it may or may not have been there, but I cannot listen to it. If I added a "He" that was not there, it would also be an error. The "He" "error" does not change anything and should not even be marked off. I understand taking off for the missed "e"

He appears well or Appears well...it is all the same. And we all know that MDs do not dictate in full, perfect sentences with subjects and verbs all the time.

Still trying to figure out how score system works - and if it is misinterpreted.

Over zealous QA people enjoy nit picking and I do wonder if there is a bonus for their finds or if that is just a rumor. How are scores arrived at when they do find errors such as yours? Do you know?

For the very good dictators, it's easy to hear and type the first utterance of a sentence, "He" in your case. But moving down the spectrum from very good enunciation to mush mouth ESL, the call is totally subjective. You don't hear it, QA does hear it. Bottom line, it doesn't matter one little bit to the meaning anyway.

I have gone over my pay records over the past couple of years or so and my salary correspondence from this company with a qualified unemployment case worker. When I recently told her that now it appears they (wmx,nuance) are going to even cut my pay more the option I have is to quit and then file an appeal. If the company were to try and fight me on ALL the cuts I have received in the near past I have everything to show the case worker to get the highest benefits ...

According to a poster below which has apparently already attended one of the payroll meetings (as the poster posted) for nuance they have decided to keep the incentive part of all of our pay going with an exception that now you have to have over the industry standard of 98% to get a production based incentive. In addition (if this poster is accurate) they have again cut the overall pay from 8 and 4 to 3 3/4 AND 7 1/2. This is nothing but a bunch of crapploa...an MT who is now getting ...

I had a company send me an IP address to take a test. Once I e-mailed them back and asked what in the world am I suppose to do with this, they told me I had to have a FTP program. I tried one and it confused me to no end. Does anyone have any ideas on FTP programs? Thanks a lot! ...

The abbreviation "q.d." is listed as one of the dangerous abbreviations and we are not supposed to use it, ever. Yet when someone dictates the word "daily" in a report, ASR routinely substitutes "q.d." in its place. This is just wrong and has to be corrected manually. ...

I like how they try to make this seem great. It's probably no better or worse than we were before with the monthly incentives. When I got that email that said "line rate change" I really thought it was another pay cut. I tried to figure how much the increase would be. it is virtually impossible to get your required lines without working 10-12 hours a day. I have never seen such a mess. It is worse now than when it was first started. Nothing makes sense. The numbers it spews out are all wrong, medications are a joke, and even the word associations are unbelievable. Isn't someone supposed to be monitoring this program to make sure it works or is this just another burden added to the MLS to fix a mess without getting paid extra ...
