does anyone have a program where we can - check the line counts

These counts just seem awfully low to me for some reason..wouldnt be the first time they skimmed them...short of actually sitting and counting characters was wondering if there is a program out there that I could use

yourself just copy the body of the report and paste it into a word document. Use the character ct plus spaces to determine what the count for that document is. Then go to documanage, pull up that job. The you can go to payroll, it is in the drop down box on the right. That will give you the document and the numbers. You can compare with what you get on your count. The document in the payroll box is broken down how it is paid. Very easy to decipher.

Coming from a MTSO that used DQS, it was easy to see they were - stealing from us by going into SM

payroll drop down on any one job. At the very end of the payroll report, it gives the number paid on and each paragraph has the characters and spaces numbered. Very easy to see that at MM I am not being robbed, at least, not on my line counts.

sad thing is,,,I was here during the skimming of the lines deal and made 10K more then I do now..

I thought that was always available. But even now, not many - MTs bother to check it. nm

I have noticed that while Boost says I do so many zillions of lines an hour at breakneck speed, I can do 25 minutes of dictation and only get somewhere in the 150s in lines. Seems off. Every day the lines get less and less, and it is not dead air. This has been for the past couple of months. No Joke.

Google character counter, cut and paste. - That will do it.

You are probably no longer getting paid for headings and subheadings like those on Cornerstone.

If you are not going to take time to run the numbers, dont - complain. Check the lines yourself. nm

The abbreviation "q.d." is listed as one of the dangerous abbreviations and we are not supposed to use it, ever. Yet when someone dictates the word "daily" in a report, ASR routinely substitutes "q.d." in its place. This is just wrong and has to be corrected manually. ...

I like how they try to make this seem great. It's probably no better or worse than we were before with the monthly incentives. it is virtually impossible to get your required lines without working 10-12 hours a day. I have never seen such a mess. It is worse now than when it was first started. Nothing makes sense. The numbers it spews out are all wrong, medications are a joke, and even the word associations are unbelievable. I've been out of transcription for a couple of years and wonder what the most popular expansion program is now. I loved PRD before it expired years ago. More recently used Abbreviate for it's ability to provide formatted text (bold print, etc) in the short forms so an entire H&P format could be saved. Is that still on the market? I am losing my marbles so here's the short story. I have an account that I charge 2 different rates on -- a STAT rate and non-stat rate. Do any of you MT's out there use a program that can invoice a client for 2 different rates but input info only one time?
