How often do you have to be "off the grid" - before they start

performance managing you? And if you stay the same (which I know I will) do they fire you even if they aren't paying MUP? I seem to be on that stupid grid about half the time and of course off the other half. Even though I'm off the grid, I still (if barely) make it over minimum wage and so they haven't had to pay me MUP yet.

Do they care more about having to pay MUP pay than they do about getting under 99%? That wouldn't make sense but neither does anything this company does.

it will likely depend on how low the QA is.

The way it seems to work though, is you first get a verbal warning and after 2 weeks, you have another call scheduled to see if you are making progress. If there is insufficient progress in that 2 weeks, they do the performance management plan for 4 weeks where you are checked in on weekly. If things have not improved in that 4 weeks, that is when termination happens.

Well the way things are going, with one week - getting 99% to 100% and then

and then the next 98 percent, then the next 100% then the next 98.7, just back and forth....LOL. Depends if I have to work on another account or happen to get a slew of horrible dictators what my score will be, and it will ALWAYS be different,up and down. I wonder how that will work. This place is crazy.

So after anguishing over this new pay grid I began crunching numbers. If I continue with my average line count which is around 170 lph and fall off the grid I will be making $12.75 ph. If I send more than the QC% of 10% I will make 11.90. So worst case scenario is $11.90 ph at this point. I have to say 9 months ago when I hired in, I was very skeptical of all the nay sayers on this forum. The new pay scale came out and a month into it, I was like awesome! An email was sent to QC stating that even though we are pretty much just doing a second pass editing job now and on production only, it was stated they still expect us to send feedback to MLS. So instead of using Fiesa for its intended purpose we are suppose to go back to sending feedback emails. If you look at the pay grid, N actually pays LESS for having a high QC% than for having a low QA score. How does that make any sense? They would rather having us submitting reports to the client with possible errors than sending things to QC. It's all about the production! ...
