Going to dispute every FIESA error I can until they are sick of me - new but old

Yes this may be futile, but instead of just griping about it, I am going to start disputing only my post audit (the ones that count) corrections that I feel are wrong. Yes this may take up some time, but so does posting on this board and I am truly fed up with it and if we all start taking a little time to really start questioning the QC being done to us maybe we can make some sort of difference. Even if they don't reverse it and even if they don't answer you back - they STILL see it and if enough of us take the time to do it we may at least make them recognize something. Griping about it on this board is great but serves no purpose except me venting about it which is great, but I need to do more so I am going to start this and we will see. I will keep you posted. All they can do is say NO or ignore me. Nothing different then what is going on now is the way I look at it.

[ In Reply To ..]The problem is no one wants to take up their own time. I used to dispute every one I felt was incorrect and most of them got reversed, but it took up way too much of my morning. Plus, they just wound up moving me to another account. New account specific, new bullshit to worry about.

I looked at mine until I saw a 0.25 deduction for "_-- HAS BEEN RATHER THAN HAVE BEEN". Absolutely no impact on the sentence.
If we have been busy and out of TAT my suggestion would be to take some of these every-so-perfect picky QA/QC people and have them help when we are swamped.
I feel that we, the lowly MTs, are being ganged up on. The ratio of QA/QC to MT is probably, what 1:5? and it is only getting worse with their bonuses depending on it.
Social Security is dangling like a carrot in front of my nose. Hope those of you young enough to get into another line of work have good luck doing so.

It didn't take as long as I thought it would because you have to copy and paste the whole thing into your email and after I did that, I just went down each one and put the number and the reason I was questioning it. At the very end, I put a simple statement that I just felt that they were being a little over diligent and that I truly didn't feel these were all true errors. I am lucky in that I do have a good TL and know that she will at least look at what I put and try and help. All the ones I have ever questioned in the past except for one I have gotten reversed - never to this degree - but I have never had this many in all of my life. Woke up to another major error this morning. I am not being rude about it and am trying to be overly nice actually. See what happens

[ In Reply To ..]It may only irritate them but they cannot legally fire us for questioning any of their corrections. I checked this out first so GO FOR IT!! The more we can irritate them then the better. Maybe we will hit the right TL on the right day and you never know. But if enough of us do it then maybe it can make a difference, if only to irritate the QC people for disputing what they are correcting. Even 1 reversal for us is a win is the way I look at it. The more reversals we can get the better for us. At least they won't think we are going to lay down and let them walk over us. The time we all spend on this board griping can be spent trying to put more money back in our pocket.

[ In Reply To ..]I have been disputing what I believe are incorrect changes to my reports also. Probably not nearly as many as you have, but in my mind it doesn't matter how many there are, it only matters whether the errors were truly "errors."
I too have a great TL, and on the last batch that I disputed, I clearly stated that I didn't care if the error disputed was within the correct "timeframe" for pay period dates. I only cared about whether the error was going to be reversed if incorrect.
I believe she understood what I was trying to say because she took the time to review every one of them and reply to every one of my disputes with an answer as to why it would be reversed and/or why it wouldn't be reversed.
So, if it's past the "timeframe" for the pay period, it doesn't matter to me about the pay part. For me, it's all about making sure the correction and/or error deduction was absolutely necessary and whether or not it was MY mistake/error or just something that QA/QC "over edited."
However, I don't go into FIESA every single day. I just don't have that kind of time anymore. I first look at any QC feedback or corrections because those are the ones that matter most to ME. Then, I glance at QA post audit and if I see any ridiculously glaring errors in anything that they've changed or dinged me for, then I dispute those.
However, I haven't had more than a few post-audit reports to look at since my score dropped enough to eliminate me from any kind of incentive bonus and the quarterly bonus at the beginning of July.

[ In Reply To ..]Just forwarded major errors to TSM. Some are definitely fabricated. And as suspected, they are taken from reports sent to QA for blanks, etc. Revenge of the QA possibly? I notate every report I send to QA so I can tell which are being audited. Supposed to be "random" audits so why only the ones sent in for problems?

[ In Reply To ..]Have been told it is only the post-audits that can be reversed and not to submit any others, so taking your own time to dispute any of the QC reviews is just a waste of your own time. On Fiesa I just look at the post-audit and dispute, quickly put my initials on the other nit-picking and that is enough time wasted.

[ In Reply To ..]When you go into FIESA under corrected reports, you check the dates to and from you want to look at. On the right hand side up towards the top it says audit type - hit the drop down arrow and check post audit (these are the only ones that they will bother to reverse and are the only ones that truly matter to you as far as incentives and bonuses) and then hit submit. The ones that come up are the ones that you need to look at and if you feel are wrong then you should question them with your TL and see if they will reverse them
EXACTLY happened with me - I found out my reports
[ In Reply To ..]went through 3 QC editors, all Indian, before they found a bogus "error". I have, and will continue to dispute each and every error FIESA score. I send reports for 100% QA because the tape was defective, or it is a problem dictator that should never be on speech to begin with...those are what are audited as my post audits. Why should I penalized if QA misses something or makes an error? If it goes to QA with a 100% review due to defective speech, this is bogus that they pull this dictator and ONLY this dictator to try and knock me below the bonus limit. In July alone, I had almost 10, yep count 'em , 10 - FIESA "errors" reversed because they were NOT errors, but a manipulation by QC.
I CHALLENGE EVERY SINGLE FIESA POST AUDIT AND WILL CONTINUE TO - THESE IDIOTS PAY $ 100.00 TO QC AUDITORS TO KEEP THE MLS' FROM MAKING $ 1.00. From a business standpoint alone, this is stupid beyond belief.

Indian QC not undertanding when to use conjunctiva/conjunctivae and writing me up for a "wrong medical term". The list goes on.

NEVER Get Error Notifications In Fiesa

I used to almost NEVER get error notifications in Fiesa. Now that the new "compensation plan" has been put into place, I get a notice every other day that they found an error. Due to my work ethic established over decades, I have not sped up my QAing of reports at all, accepting my fate that I will now be making third world wages until I find a new employer. Supposedly post-audit has managed to find these errors in my work. I don't buy it for a minute. How much lower can Nuance go ...

After reading the emails below, I had to post. After starting with Nuance, getting great QA reviews, great post audit reviews, and thinking I was doing well - I have gotten THREE major alert emails in 2 days. I have since discovered these were reviewed by Offshore QA. Why? Do we not have enough reviewers onshore? I think I am going to do what a poster below suggested and block them. I don't see that having the reviews come through helps me in any way. I have also noticed that some of these jobs have been QCd twice for some reason - and it is not a post audit. So frustrating to get dinged on things that I just can't prove I did or didn't do....I hate that part of this company. ...

Here I am, getting shuffled around in the 'cesspool', a dozen unfamilar accounts. You have your decent accounts with just the basics. Then, you have the CPs that are a long as novels and, if you miss something, you will hear about it, the fact it is in the CP and you shouldn't make such a mistake. I already spend so much time reading CPs, that I then get warnings that my production has fallen. So much for a consistent layout of CPs. I have to hunt for desired PE format, etc... ...
