Does Anyone Make The Bonus or even over Min Required Line Count?? - smeeps

Please don't bash too much. I took this job, made my bed and have to lie in it. I like the work, am getting use to the dictators, but the realization is setting in that my pay, no matter how hard I work, will not get much over state min. I've already had 2 checks with some MUP and probably will have a third. What gets me is, we're told to speed up play to edit faster, yet I have gotten, on more than one occasion, messages from QA/QC to slow down to get better quality reports. I'm asked time and time again to work OT if I can. I finally told my TSM that my 'threshold" for this job(as a whole) is my 6 scheduled hours per day, anything over and my quality suffers. I can now see why so many have said negative things about Nuance. That being said, I will continue to do my best, whatever happens, happens.
Nuance dos evertything they can to set you - for failure
[ In Reply To ..]You slow down for quality - you're told you are too slow. You speed up to make line count - you're told your speed is causing errors. If you make the LPH count, they seach high and low until they can edit your reports to keep you below the bonus level. You make the bonus requirements, they hit you at the end of the quarter with low scores because you have no time to get the reversals in for the bonus.
Run far, run fast. All the TSMs will brag about being MLS' and know what we go through....all BULL. If they could make so much money, why did they all go into management. ANSWER: Because NONE OF THEM could make money under the restrictions we work under, and NONE OF THEM could maintain what we have to. Wait until Nuance startes cleaning out the management ranks...then you'll hear the TSMs squealing like pigs.
Okay, Nuance suit trolling this board....hit this with all the dislikes you can. WE ALL KNOW WHAT NUANCE IS DOING. ANYONE SMELL A LAWSUIT ON THE WAY BY THE MLS'???? Guess Nuance didn't learn from MModal and Transcend.

Just about every audit, something has to be reversed because they made a mistake. Once I could not find 2 of the doctors to copy to and was counted off for abuse of flagging. I do like the platform, but not the BS that comes with it. But, my biggest reason for staying is because I have been paid on time, unlike my previous job. Good luck and hang in there. There are some people on this board who will be rude no matter what.

Get the incentive weekly and also quarterly bonus - new but old

Even when I really don't think I will qualify after looking at FIESA and everything, I very rarely don't get the weekly incentive and I got the quarterly bonus a couple of months back which came as a surprise because I didn't think I qualified. I don't knock out the lines that I could because I take frequent breaks due to some prior surgeries that I had and the need to get up and move around.

I got the bonus, too - but what some do not get on - here is that Nuance will do everything
[ In Reply To ..]they can to keep you from getting it with any regularity or several times in a row. The ones that say they "get bonus/incentive" have not yet had the bull's eye drawn on their back. NUANCE DOES NOT WANT TO PAY US WHAT WE ARE WORTH. They auidted ONLY the docs that are the worst that other MLS' had skipped - and I still got the incentive and bonus...then they stopped editing my work. It took them over 2 weeks to find a job (with editor errors in it) that they could audit to put me at 98.99% today. (I challenged the errors made by auditor - but as usual, no response). I keep records of all my work. When I hit the 99% plus next time around, I am calling off. I also keep records of all my work that they "audit"...will need them for the lawsuit. :)
Only way they learn is to hit them in their bank acct HARD!

Does anyone think Nuance is overhing and keeping the work situation low on purpose so no one will make their weekly line count bonus? this is sad to hear that some hospitals are requiring Mt's to get the flu shot, especially when they're not treating with patients. Since the flu is primarily transmitted through hand contact, which even many loyal CDC quoting doctors will admit to, it makes more sense to me to enforce regular handwashing of healthworkers that are going to touch anything to do with a patient, which would also cut down on infection-caused deaths, the bugaboo of many hospitals. I was just hired on with a company to do strictly VR. I am only going to be working part time so about 4 hours a day. Is this correct? I type 70,000 characters a day. I am paid by the 65 character line so I would divide 70,000 by 65 to get 1076, then multiple that by pay per line, say $.10 and get $107.
