I am considering requesting this pay which (depending on the state) considers us to be on-call and must be paid for part of our shift if no work. I get tired of reading that hospitals only want CCS credentials. That completely depends on the hospital. What should be said is INPATIENT coding is CCS and OUTPATIENT is CPC.
