A community of 30,000 US Transcriptionist serving Medical Transcription Industry
I feel really great today, I must say.
I don't have to dread coming to my desk now, don't have to flinch every time I see the word FIESA ever again, and don't have to be angered every time there is a new round of *restructuring* which inevitably (in my experience) leads to MORE pay cuts.
My hope is that US-based hospital chains will start their OWN transcription companies. They have to pay someone, why not keep it in the US? If I have to accept minimum wage pay (or whatever I might earn) I prefer to keep all of my business onshore.
That's just my opinion. I won't work for an offshore-owned company again, EVER.
