what equipment do you return? - Almost outta here...

What equipment are we supposed to return? Just the hard drive? I don't want to call my CCM about this so I hope someone who recently quit knows. Since my computer doesn't have enough power to run 7.1, do you think they still want it back?

I just call it the hard drive. Sorry. I just wonder if they wanted the pedal back, how big of a box do I need.

If they sent you a monitor and computer (hard drive), I would send both back. I doubt they want the foot pedal and headsets.

I have two of their computers and was waiting for a lable to send the first one back (still work there) and it never came. I have also read where some posted they didn't get their lables to send equipment back either. I personally dont think they are that concerned about it, based on my expereince. I figured I would just keep the second computer as a back-up in case something happens with the first one.

I was told by my CCM that the only things they want back are the computer and flat screen monitor, though I have yet to receive labels. I have been gone since the middle of June. Like previous poster stated, I seriously doubt they could care less if they get them back since they're not supplying computers anymore. Don't worry about it.

want back now. be patient. if they don't contact you, contact support or human resources. and keep your confirmations that you sent them back for several years cause you never know.

I left in June also and have yet to receive my labels for my computer. I have had my exit interview and they sent me an informational letter about what to do about health benefits (which I didn't have anyway), but nothing about their computer. There is no way I am spending my money to ship it back to them. If they want it back, they will have to pay for it!

in the closet until they decide they want it bad enough to send the labels. Also, they have been sending the flat screen monitors for a while now. Mine antiquated one quit a couple years ago and I have a nice thin flat screen now.

I am a former MedQuister who left over 2 years ago. I just today recieved a letter from MQ stating they have contacted me 3 times over equipment that had not been returned that belongs to them. specifically useful in listing, when I used to hit return, it would automatically capitalize the next line, updated to 6.1 and no more auto cap on return. Anyone else have this problem? Ok, I've been getting a lot of doctors saying this. That patients can go to/return to what s/l CPAP (see pap). Is this correct? I'm not sure if it's a nickname for another local facility either. Does anybody know if there is a keyboard shortcut to get back to the beginning of the audio? With 6.whatever you just went back to the beginning of the text and then did control m to put the audio there and went to the beginning because of the skip markers, now with no skip marker, it only goes back to where the actual report starts, not the beginning of the ADT, if it will go back at all. I like 7 way better in all other aspects, but having to manually slide the audio back over with ...

I have to admit, it was tough calling - it just makes it all the more real - wow, these companies really have screwed us all over for years! It is a painful realization...I mean, you KNOW you're getting screwed over...but when you make contact with the legal system...it's real in a way it wasn't before. However...I'm glad I called!!!!!! When did it start being okay for companies to accept and accomodate docs who put out garbage and then require the world of us MT's? I have worked in the medical setting in various capacities, so I know how docs are and I am used to it. Recently resigned from MQ and received the mailing labels to ship back their computer and monitor. However, per the letter, they don't require that you return the mouse, keyboard, and any other peripherals. It doesn't say you will be charged for them -- it just says they want the computer and monitor. Has anyone left MQ and kept the keyboard and mouse? ...
