slap on the wrist email reminding us to use QA - seriously?

Posted: Jul 15, 2010

Apparently nobody in my group is "remembering" to click the QA box when they need to send jobs to QA and reports are going straight to the client.  Am I missing something or isn't that the point of FTR?  FTR basically financially punishes the MTs for sending reports to QA so I don't think anyone is "forgetting" to click the box.  We just don't want to lose any more money.  You know, they can always find something to complain about.  I almost don't want to check my email anymore.

We've been threatened with termination if we don't - dnr

send to QA and if the client sends it back because of blanks and QA/QA coach can fill it in, you will be subject to termination. I do send in docs with a lot of blanks, but I can't afford to be "charged (ie docked)" 3 cents a line for not being able to hear something and possibly being put on 100% if I send "too much" to QA.

3 cpl - MarineMom

How is that 3 cpl figured? Is that 3 cpl for the report you sent in? 3 cpl for the day? 3 cpl for the pay period? I'm confused. I don't believe I have ever been docked for going over our percentage for QA at Spheris.

Not something he verbally said, just something I'm supposed to know for this account which has a bazillion different entities. Of course, she was off for most of the holiday week and just got back to me, wondering what my point was be ...

I am a new MT and have only been working a couple of weeks but loving it!  I was just wondering if any of you seasoned MTs out there remembered having hand and wrist pain when you first started?  With the increased amount of typing that I have been doing all day long every day, I find that my hands and wrists hurt when I am doing other things.  I am not talking about being sore, which I expected until I get use to all the typing, but actual stabs of pain when I move them certain w ...
