Serious question re work levels. (sm) - New to all of this.

Posted: Apr 18, 2012

I've seen something mentioned on here about putting DEP after your username to check how much work there is in the system, and something about someone sending out reports of how much work there is... probably the CCM I guess. I'm newish and I have NEVER seen a report of how much work there is and the DEP thing doesn't work when I try it (it says contact my supervisor for permission). Is my CCM supposed to send out a report of available work? Does anyone know this for sure? I don't want to make waves, but sometimes it would be really nice to know. TIA.

So you weren't trained on how to access DocQmanage - Valuable resource

You're CCM should send out a backlog, but some are lazy; nothing you can do about that. I suggest you get the password to enter DocQmanage (DEP), however, whether from you CCM or higher up if your CCM is incompetent. I stay logged on my whole shift. Not only can you view the backlog, but you can access old reports. Some don't like it because it can be slow, but I've found my lines are mostly unaffected and my QA score is nil since I can fill in almost all blanks. Although this is probably frowned upon, sometimes for repetitive docs, you can just copy and paste an old report and then just edit what is different.

Srsly? We can do that? (sm) - Huh?

Okay, I'm new, too, and I had no idea we could do this. Is it for all MTs or just higher-ups? Oh, and I have had zero training. I had to figure out the timeclock thing myself and I wonder how much other stuff I'm missing out on. They should really have orientation or something.

Yep, everybody should have access - sm

Just ask you CCM for the password or to be activated, whatever they have to do. When I was hired I had to go through orientation; of course, that was 6 years ago. Your CCM should have been the one to set you up, or at least given you links to watch some videos. If she isn't doing her job, you need to go over her head; hopefully that will get her boss' attention.
Do MTs have access, or just MMEs? - Tired MT
[ In Reply To ..]
Last I heard, only MMEs, QC and supevisor/management had access, NOT straight MTs. Privacy rule issue or something. Correct me if I'm wrong.
you are wrong... we all have access - even MTs
[ In Reply To ..]
how do you check your line counts? It is the same way, just with DEP after the user number
Nope, everybody gets it. - Previous MT
[ In Reply To ..]
I've had it for over a year now as an MT. They sent an email about it when it came out back then.

I've just recently become an MME and we don't gain any extra resources than we had as an MT.
Everybody has access, they changed - anon

that about a year ago. I am not MME and have had access for quite some time

We do not all have access. I asked and was told it was not available. - guess it depends

on your CCM and region ...
I would push the issue. - It has been out for over a year now for the MTs
[ In Reply To ..]
If you asked your CCM, she probably is clueless. I would keep going higher up, or at least get an answer on why your region won't allow it.

I've had access to it for way longer than a year and I'm just a MT. But ya know how inconsistent this place is -- it's all up to your CCM. But if you're going to find out anything that you probably do need to know about, this board is the place to come and you'll most likely get an answer sooner than dealing with those above us -- so very wrong, but I think they enjoy keeping us under their thumbs!!
What region are you in? - nm

You need to get the info for COMPANY to - L&L

[ In Reply To ..]
log in for DQManage. The DEP to your user ID is correct, but it takes a completely different company entry. I check it all the time. My CCM gave us our info ages ago. Just check with yours.

I actually can leave the company blank when I log in - I did it by accident once, but got in anyway

[ In Reply To ..]
Now, I never enter it in. Just my user name 9XXXXXdep and the password. I wonder if it's a glitch for me. Give it a try and let me know.

However, I do have to still enter the company to check my line count in the other DocQmanage. Why don't they just combine the two?????

DEP lookup - Working MT

[ In Reply To ..]
Yes, yes, yes you should have access to the DEP lookup. I know for a fact that we were all given this priviledge when they changed our audit percentage allowable up to 99% or whatever it is now with the excuse that we have the "repository" examples (located in the CP Client profile (which there is hardly ever any examples you need) and the use of the DEP lookup, so there are NO EXCUSES for not being able to figure out what a doctor is saying to leave blanks, etc. Contact technical support and see what they say. Tell them you need to be activated for the DEP lookup without talking to your supervisor and see what they say.

Make that "No excuses." - Working MT

Does Anyone Know Exactly How Many Levels
Dec 11, 2013

Of transcribing/editing a job goes through before making it back to the client?  For example, does it go overseas first and then back to us and we fix what they left behind? Or do we get the job first?  Who does the audits...an actual human or is it ran through some program first? I think a lot of what mm does is hidden from us.  Would not surprise me. ...

You'd Think 2 Levels Of QA Would Make A Good ILP Report.
Mar 02, 2012

I just QAd an ILP report that I was only supposed to fill in the blanks, but I saw a major error near the blank, so I did a 100% review.  I found 32 errors, 17 of them were critical with missing phrases, words, and just plain making up what they thought they heard.  I checked the travel details of the report and it went through 2 levels of ILP QA before it got to me!  Why are we losing our jobs to them?  Oh, yeah, the suits make more money.  Never mind the patient with " ...
