Printable DQS guidelines

When a company states a line rate for a "65 printable character line" does that mean they do not pay for spaces? I saw an ad saying they pay the highest in the business, which was about 8.5 cents for 65 printable character line. That to me says without spaces, as it is not a printable character, so that would be a horrible rate surely not one of the best in the business. Wonder why there is no respect for our thumbs !!!! ...

I have been scanning through posts for several years here and am amazed at the recurrent complaints about standards. Well, I have read a couple of e-mails from corporate today. I do not know about anyone else, but they are as clear as mud. Don't these people have anything better to do than set these guidelines?
