21% to QA yesterday. One report almost 3000 l.ong. Sound quality was deplorable.

Don't feel it's right we get penalized when they can't open up theiir mouths and speak clearly.

Unbelievable.

Why send it to QA? Chances are they cannot do - anything with it. I would have

It had 22 blanks and QA was not able to fill most of them in either. Won't do that again. Am taking your advice.

I would also contact the super to tell them about it. That is absolutely not right!

Supers are useless. The less contact I have - with mine, the better off I am.

They make an awful lot of money to have nothing much to do, unlike us busting our butts for minimum wage. What a joke this has become. I'd get rid of all that middle management waste of money and pay my money-makers better, and still come out ahead!

My new motto is, if Mmodal won't hold them accountable, I will..I blank it and send it. In the past 9 times out of 10 QA can't fill in my blanks so not sending it.

I know this is late, but I was just released from the hospital, so forgive me. I was one of the "fortunate" ones who got the Surprise! letter with accompanying gift. In the letter, it goes on to say how much I'm appreciated for my dedicated service, I bring expertise to medical documentation and that they "just couldn't do it without me." For the last week, I have been getting a vast quantiy of ESL dictators. Boy has my line count plummeted. I cannot understand them. Most of them whisper while dictating. Here's a thought --- SPEAK UP. Hard to maintain line count and accuracy when you cannot hear or understand them. Why should I care if they don't? It just keeps getting worse and worse. Why do companies overhire?? Why? One minute your drowning in work and willing to work extra to get it under control but then they overhire and you have NO work and having to fight over work with everyone else. It is ridiculous.
