For the last week, I have been getting a vast quantiy of ESL dictators. Boy has my line count plummeted. I cannot understand them. Most of them whisper while dictating.
Here's a thought --- SPEAK UP. Hard to maintain line count and accuracy when you cannot hear or understand them. Why should I care if they don't?
It just keeps getting worse and worse. Just feel like tearing my hair our or run down the street screaming and yelling.
Shit in, shit out (SISO).

[ In Reply To ..]I know what you mean, we must have the same account. I'm guessing that a crap load of MT/HDS/ME whatever we are now called have quit MM because the backlogs keep getting worse and I keep getting thrown into different accounts. What a disaster.

He speaks in a whisper and has a heavy accent. Enough already. Don't mind doing a few but feel like I am getting ALL of them.
Just looked at my line count and it sucks big time with all the time wasted on this inconsiderate boob.

Do you sent it to the client with 15 blanks? That is what the last one had. I am sitting here in tears because I am sooooooooooooooooo beyond anger and frustration. Can somebody else take him for a whle? Got a feeling that he is getting returned a lot.
Guess I'll begrudingly do him and waste my time trying to figure out what he is saying. Learn to speak louder and learn the language PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know this is late, but I was just released from the hospital, so forgive me. I was one of the "fortunate" ones who got the Surprise! letter with accompanying gift. In the letter, it goes on to say how much I'm appreciated for my dedicated service, I bring expertise to medical documentation and that they "just couldn't do it without me." Why do companies overhire?? Why? One minute your drowning in work and willing to work extra to get it under control but then they overhire and you have NO work and having to fight over work with everyone else. It is ridiculous.
