Love the extra daylight hours, but am I the only one dragging tail? - wish they would just keep it this was for good

calling off. Could not keep eyes open. I love the extra daylight time also and wish the same as you. I thought I heard once that changing it was so the kids do not have to wait in the dark for the school bus as one reason they do not keep it the same. Even my dogs keep yawning. LOL.

who really profits are the oil companies and big business. Studies have shown that people spend more money in the extended daylight hours and drive more. Most farmers don't even like the change.

I feel your sleepy "pain." It usually takes me about 2-3 weeks to adjust to the changes. Arizona and Hawaii have the right idea and have opted out of the silliness.

Even though I got some extra sleep on Sunday (tried to make up for it), it really didn't seem to help this morning. I'm usually not a napper, but couldn't help myself this afternoon - my eyes just would not stay open! Hoping it doesn't take too long to adjust - but I am enjoying the extra daylight (got out of the house yesterday and rode bikes with the kids until 8 p.m.)

Getting up in the dark doesn't bother me as much as trying to stay awake in the mid afternoon. Longer daylight hrs also means my hubs works more hours, which also sucks. So glad I'm not still at the Q as I'd be sleeping and drooling on my keyboard before I got my hours and lines in.

Anybody out there in my POD and want to help me interpret our mandatory OT? HDSM is KD and scheduler is CS. They are awesome (I'm lucky to be in this POD and know it). Have to say, I love Mmodal. My CCM is caring and considerate and kind. Also, love the pay and hardly ever running out of work but when we do, that is a nice break for me. Well, let me think about this....I just checked Fiesa and I have two 100% reports in there. I'm normally off Thurs/Fri. So if I just don't work anymore chances are good I will stay right at that 100%. If I do (and I KNOW I'll get the worst dictators AND my backup account I rarely work on, happens every time in this situation)....but chances are HIGH that I will get that worked audited and then drop below 100%, prob evening falling off the "grid" and/or having to ...

I assume that the MT companies set up a contract with the client for them to pay on a per-line basis. Of course, they charge more than they pay us; that's how they make their money & that's fine.
