I requested to go PT TWO FULL weeks ago and still haven't - Kiki

heard a yes or no from my CCM.  She has answered other emails that I had sent AFTER that so I KNOW she got the email.  Can she actually deny my request to go PT?  Can I only do this at a certain time of the year? 

Anyone who has dropped to PT, I'd love to hear from you about this.  I think it's really rude that she is not getting back to me about it.  Is she hoping I will change my mind if she ignores me?  Can she really say, "no, either work FT or nothing?"

put in a request for the PT time and leave an alert in schedulesource, then write her saying, "Please approve my PT time." It's your PT time, not hers. It's there for when you need it. If she says no, I would be going over her head.

Not OP but PT is there when you need it? Isnt it MQ - option if you work PT or FT? SM

If they just need FT MTs, cant they deny PT? I am being told I cannot work my usual schedule, more MTs needed at a different time and I need to change my schedule. Can they do that?

I read that as PT time, not going PT. LOL I thought she asked for PT time and hadn't heard back. So sorry. You are probably right.

what to do when your emails are not being responded to in a timely manner. It's all there in black and white what to do. I suggest you go to that page and do what it says. Go to Departments, Operations, Customer Support Services, MT, MT Information and it's right there. Hope this helps.

PTO - tired

I asked for 1 stinking day of PTO..no response..Then I happened to ask my QA person and she said it has to be done through Teamwork and THEN email my manager..Why couldnt my manager tell me to do that (I am relatively new)..So I do that,,,no response..Im waiting because I need to be at a ceremony for my son who is away at college..Figuring my lead would say yea or nay...Nutting again so I am poking around in teamwork and see denied..Meanwhile already HAD to send in the reponse that I would be attending the ceremony (space limited) and my two sons also surprised me with concert tickets for a band I love that same night...Wanna bet where my tail will be the day I asked for PTO??? will I get fired cause then I need to start sending out resumes..

Get creative. Get off computer, turn off answering machine, - call on cell phone to tell them you SM

your electricty is off. Darn. If you do this you want to be sure answering machine is off in case they try to call you and you must not be seen by them on IM or anything else that would require electricty. Or while working, do a hard shut down of your computer. You know, just turn PC off while you are in Docuscribe. Then call and let them know your PC crashed. What bad luck. You just want to be sure to not get on the PC for a day or 2. If they mention it was really quick for you to be able to work again, just say you are borrowing a sibling's computer that you brought to your house.

And probably a good idea to do either one on the - day you asked off, when they SM

think it is a nonissue at that point. Do it day before and they will probably figure you are taking off to go to your ceremony.

When I needed/decided to go to PT in order to allow me to pursue another PT time more fully, I simply called my CCM and explained the situation to her. She worked great with me, setting up a schedule that worked around my other job, making it flexible, etc. However, she was not an MQ CCM, she had been my CCM for years when our company was swallowed the "the sQuid." I did have to wait till the start of a new pay period though. It worked for me. Eight months later I left completely! Hope it works out for you. Best of luck.

I've been all over the place today, from California to New York and everywhere in between, and not a single report from ANY of my "primaries" ... not even one.  There doesn't seem to be ANY rhyme or reason to the type or location of the reports I've gotten ... it's crazy.  It's like a switch has been flipped since yesterday, and I also notice my Teamwork timecard has my manager's name changed to the new one.  Guess this is what my work flow will look ...
