MQ really, really has a product to be proud of in ASR. The doctor dictates the patient walked into her office with some papers in her left hand. ASR heard pubis. English doctor. No slurring. This is just kind of humorous, but the number of "edits" that have to be made each shift is just plain shameful. How loud do we have to scream to be heard? I would love to see a study on how many ME's have increased their productivity and by how much. I think percentages would tell the whole story.
And for you out there ready to pounce on me, yes I am doing something about it. I have already taken on a second job to help make up the pay I have lost, and am actively seeking to get out of this place. I am the wage-earner in my family so I can't just quit. I also need medical benefits. Trying to make a smart move but, for sure, I will be making the move.
