Holiday Pay - - Does it start at midnight?

Hey fellow MTs, is there work on the midnight shift? It seems that during the day there should be doctor's dictating all day, so why is there no work? Is MM delegating the work to certain MTs? Does anyone really know what is going on? It would be nice if they let us know what is happening. Is all the work really going to India because they are cheaper...or ? ...

Here's the deal...my company says if/when you work a holiday, they will give you the equivalent hours in PTO to use later on (you work 8, you get 8 PTO).
