I just to recently switched to a whole new region, supervisor and QA supervisor with 3 days notice because of ONE particular account I transcribe on. I had been typing the previous accounts for over 5 years. Since the switch two weeks ago, I have now TEN new accounts that I type for with all new CP's, set-ups and dictators; however, I have noted AT ALL the account for which I had previously typed which was the reason I was transferred in the first place!! Furthermore, there is no training period which means if I have any questions regarding standards, terminology etc, I can't send to QA without going against my 5% submission rate!!! But the kicker is, I just got a nasty email from my new supervisor because I had sent a report to a client with 27 blanks. Of course, when I reviewed it, the some blanks I had left were set-up questions and terminology and supposedly the QA person was able to fill in all 27 blanks!!! Lucky her/him!!! This person obviously has more training with this account, why don't I get any???

We were thrown into the mix of sending blanks directly to the client without any training whatsoever! All we can do is follow the Client Profile first, then the DQS manual as how to word something that is not clear or an inconsistency. Just for an example, a particular client wants the words DICTATION ENDED HERE at the bottom of the report if a dictation ends suddenly, and a QA note stating the same. Now my CCM is sending out emails stating this is incorrect because there are a lot of residents who dictate partials. How in the world are we supposed to be able to determine if that's the case if they don't dictate that it is, when it obviously sounds like it is an incomplete report? Just a lot more hoops to have to jump through and time wasted trying to figure it all out! Guess no one will ever get it...we work on production..and my paycheck is proof of that failing dramatically because of all the idiotic clerical things we are required to do for NO PAY.

Occasionally when I'm doing an ASR report and insert a QA marker the yellow cursor marker will go away and the cursor goes to the end of the report. Then I have to scroll back through the report to find my place and if I lift my foot off the foot pedal it happens again. Does anyone know how to fix this? It's irritating on a really long report. TIA. ...

That is when I got a new CSM and they said they were "restructuring" and some CSMs were going to deal only with MTs and some only with customers. My new CSM said her old MTs were always running out of work because THEY said the average MT could do "x amount" of dictation and most of hers could do twice that, and so when she got the "new-to-her" MTs and accounts, then we all started running out of work. ...

As stated in my previous post, I have been typing all new accounts for the last 2 weeks with no training whatsoever. I got a "critical error" report back because of the number of blanks I had put into the report and sent directly to the client.
