DocQscribe 5.13 Manual - Treena

I need help please!! I begin training on Monday with MedQuist. I am running Vista 64-bit and was told to reference pages 59-60 in the DocQscribe manual on how to download DocQscribe. I do not have a manual and obviously will not have one before training begins. I searched and searched the archives and really found nothing of help. Could someone please tell me what pages 59-60 say about doing this? I would really appreciate any help. Thank you sooo very much. Treena.

I was told when I tried to download DQS on my laptop that it would not work with Vista 64 bit computer.

That is why I requested an MQ computer. My Vista laptop was not compatible. - NJA MT

I appreciate your time and information. However, when I log-in and click DocQscribe, it states: The version of DocQscribe you are trying to install requires the Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 Redistributable Package SP2. I have then downloaded this only for Microsoft to tell me that Vista is not compatible with this download. I am at a complete loss as to why Vista will not allow DocQscribe to work. I have a call in to Tech Support, but have not heard back from them after 3 hours. Perhaps, it is a simple fix, but not for me. Ugh. Thanks again. Treena

I had the same problem, same error msg. I have Vista, but 32-bit. It was a simple fix when the help desk guy called back, took him literally 3 or 4 minutes to have it DL. Something about running it as administrator to DL, but it did DL on my desktop and laptop and I have been using it on both since. Hope they call you soon!

I'm stuck in a loooooong op report, completed, need to send to client, but with recent changes in Glyph it opens document in Word rather than staying in the opening page in Glyph, which is the only page that has the SEND command. If I select to send job to client, will it send just a blank page (as seen on opening page where we used to transcribe) or will it send the Word completed document? I don't see any changes in the Glyph manual regarding sending a completed doc. I have a ...

My company is switching from straight transcription on DQS to ASR on DQS. I've used DQS for two years and didn't even know they had ASR, but apparently they do. Could any of you with experience on this please give me your opinions of the DQS ASR platform? I'm just not sure I want to go through training if I won't want to stay with this company. I did Escription for awhile at another company and hated it. Thanks in advance! ...

My account was switched over 5 weeks ago and truthfully I don't see improvement. One day I think maybe it is getting better and the next day it's worse. It doesn't cap what should be and does cap things that shouldn't. It has probably 50 different things it uses for "next" or "next is." It puts q.h.s. one time and at bedtime the next. I lock up everytime I use ADP. Then I have to get out and try again. It has already been 20 minutes and I still have not loaded yet.
