I would advise EVERYONE to get a copy of their medical records and view them. I had to get copies from my PCP (cost me $15.00, but worth it), and I found soooo many mistakes. Some I know were the MT's, but most were the doctor's mistakes. For instance, they had under my family history in the last year of mother having diabetes. My mother NEVER had diabetes, and don't know where they even got that at, as I found earlier in my file my family history, which was correct. Also stated I was single and lived with my teenage daughter. I've been married nearly 35 years, and my youngest daughter is 28!! Also listed recently that I've not had any surgeries, which was wrong also. Then I found that the last RX I got was 50,000 vitamin D3 DAILY!!!! Daily, really??? Actually it's twice a week. That was both the MT and doctor's fault, as it was not caught by anyone. MT should have known better anyway. There were several others, but just a warning, get a copy and go over it, especially your history and meds. I called these to my doctor's attention and they are being corrected. I was very nice about it, and she appreciated me telling her and if they get upset, you need to find another PCP or whatever doctor you're seeing.
