Any one else feel unappreciated? - Frustrated

Dear CCM.....

You were out for a week on vacation (I understand, we ALL need this), but you did not send an e-mail to let your 'team' know.

You were out for a week on vacation without changing your phone message to reflect this.

You do not believe in instant messaging. You want us to stop work, call and ask a question - ok - but then you send a weekly report to show us how many seconds our fingers are not moving on the keyboard.

And NOW you wonder why people are not jumping through hoops to help with this backlog?

I think we have gone backward with the new CCM's. I feel more alone today doing this job than I did when I started. But wait......those people who are ALL gone WERE available.

Working my regular hours. This is why.

Let's face it, they sent out this "incentive" program email for two reasons...one, they can't get people to work on the weekends and two, they are fully aware that for the most part, they have employees who are completely unhappy with their employment and the only way for them to keep us from leaving them in the lurch is to pay us more. Speaks volumes to me!

when I read it, it was so convoluted and difficult to understand I just said screw it. It seems like this is just a carrot on a stick no one can reach, and they look good for offering the bonus. Not gonna bust my tail for the hopeful possibility that I might see an extra buck or 2 in the paycheck this time.

but I hate the company..I feel kind of bad because I would like to help her out, as she has been nothing but accommodating to me..But bottom line is I WON'T help the company, and unfortunately this makes it hard on her..But it is what it is

Yep, I loved my TSM too, but she is moving - me to another group.

Ready to quit because of it. Tired of getting moved around with this stupid company. TSM losing accounts and overstaffed so I am the one getting picked on to move and probably because I did not sit around 24/7 checking for work. I just could not live in front of the computer so I did not produce enough to make her look good.

And, somehow it is my fault - because of no work.

TSM used to be really nice, but because of stress in her life because of this job, she has turned mean and only thinks of herself. If she did not think of herself, she would stick up for us MTs.

Had an appt with my doctor; she was slowly typing as we talked. I asked her how she liked typing her own records. She said she hates it but has no choice as it is required now. Apparently some companies are telling the hospitals that EMR is required by law. That isn't exactly true, and the companies (such as MQ) do a lot of fibbing and twisting of the truth. However, this week has been really slow so I am looking for a new full-time home and I'll stay with the old place part-time. To that end, any word on MD-IT?
