2 weeks with MM, don't like Cornerstone...s/m - MTwallet

ready to quit. How much notice should I give? I have an offer to transcribe Radiology reports from a local MTSO. and though I'm nervous about Rad, I think it's the better choice. Thanks!

You will get many different responses on this one. The thing is you have to do what works best for you and the new job. With every other job that I have had I have ALWAYS given 2 weeks notice. However, the way MM treats us....if I find a job that tells me they need me NOW, I will finish out the week and be done. I know people will say that I should not burn bridges, but I think of MM as a sweatshop and would never work for them again. I was part of a buy out of another company and really hate MM and how they treat us.

Get out as fast as possible..I left in December after 10 years..it's not easy because I'm still looking for Radiology work but MM is horrible. Just be forewarned they'll call you constantly with computer generated messages asking you to return. Best of luck.

You will love radiology once you get used to it. I have been doing it for almost 15 years, 8 with MM. If I could have a local MTSO/hospital with benefits and do radiology, I would jump on it quickly, even though I love what I am doing at MM, I love to work locally better. Good luck!

than I anticipated. Worked last week and have yet to hear answers from emailed questions to quality coach and CCM. No feedback on reports. Now getting reports from an account I've never been told about, not my primary two accounts. Weird.

I've been working on Cornerstone for years and, with the last "upgrade" the thing has gotten even slower, if that's even possible.

I'm also saying get out while you have the chance.

Oh, and if anyone comes on telling me the gazillion lines they do a day on it, please spare me.

joke! I was told it was a great program when I was told I was being switched to it, but it is horrible. My line counts have gone down since being on it. Not sure why they are still using it. All those stupid rules before you can send report are a waste of time. Highlighting allergies, now having to do them one at a time. Basically it sucks!

I find those "rules" extremely helpful; I appreciate knowing if I've missed something and the rule pops to remind me. The rules are obviously there because those issues are being noticed by the client. Better safe than sorry, I'd say.

p.s. that allergy rule must have been fixed, as after logging out and back in, it quit popping for no apparent reason.

Well, we have patient, provider, author, etc. The information panel has updated instructions for doing the reports. I worked for Spheris and used platform called Cornerstone. There are some MTs on the account who get to use the MQ platform, DEP. Cornerstone is very slow and I was wondering if the MQ platform is faster/better/whatever. If anyone knows answer, please, please email me. Thank you. Switching from Classic to Cornerstone is killing my income! My CCM tells me, like all bosses do when they switch to SR, that no one is going to lose their jobs, and it will be better. No. What happens is our pay drops drastically, and then the work doesn't take as long to do. Work that took 100 MTs to do can now be done by 50, and MTs lose out. Good for MQ....bad for us. I just got finished with 2 days training of the new Fluency 7.1 program (formerly DocQScribe). I think this DocQScribe platform is much harder than Cornerstone, and we had to learn DocQScribe in 4 hours one day plus 5 hours the next day. I am greatly disheartened that you still have comments from when an old supervisor was there and that is hurting our company. We place adds with you all on occasion and would like to know how to reply to some of these nasty comments. At least give a company a chance to defend themselves from old disgruntled transcribers. you ARE paid for CC's and pt names that YOU type in which might be helpful if you do a lot of clinics. You are NOT paid for headings and subheadings that Cornerstone puts in such as required headings and any headings put in by ASR. I've been working for Cornerstone Professional Services for a few years now. I love working for them! They pay on time (direct deposit) every time. I don't know what former staff was like, but I've read some negative reviews about them. I can honestly say the current staff is VERY supportive.
