Well, for the second time in not too many years I have been sold to MEDQUIST..............WTH????

No, I am not going to work for you no matter how many times you buy the company I work for. I would rather work at McDonalds or be a door greeter at Wal Mart.

I believe Walmart would be an increase in pay - IAMT

for me at this point with the no work available and the 9 new account specifics and special instructions for the doctors within those accounts from my company lately. Might see ya there;-) Not really a laughing matter at all, but gotta do something else here soon.

because I have 3 interviews this week and DO NOT want to work for MQ.

Not sure if it is the same, but Expert Medical - Transcription in Florida sold us out today.

Yes, it was EMT out of Florida. Owner recorded a message and had a "conference call". I have been with them a month. WOW! What a shocker. Heard Execuscribe also sold out.

I just finished printing all the newhire docs for the Q. Unfortunately, I'm in no position to walk at the moment, but you can bet your bottom dollar I'm going to be job shopping again. I am really sad, too. EMT was, in my opinion, one of the best little companies around.

Also, for you guys who were just hired recently...I am so sorry. I am so sorry for all of us really. Feel free to email me to commiserate off the board.

Tried to e-mail you but got a failure. Feel free to e-mail me. I am one of the new hires that as of today has NO JOB, no matter what the owner said. He sold his company. He does not get to SELL ME. Hope he sleeps well, which is exactly what I told him.

to the owners. Are they still involved, or when the MTs find out about the company being sold, are nowhere to be found for questioning. I would like to know how long the original owners are involved when they announce they sold the company, i.e., Encompass bough by Nuance. Is that typical for when a company is sold? I had not heard of it before. When does Probity plan to go to speech recognition? I see they have an ad on another site. Do new employees applying at Probity get the subsidy as well? I wonder if it is worthwhile to apply and work for them for the life of the subsidy (6 months) and then quit. Anyone from Probity have any insight on this? ...
