Read ad and sad, really sad. This is about transcription company posting but could be on the comedy - Now have read it all

I noticed here a person asking how to get a job in this occupation and they listed where they had finished school. It was online so thought I would take a look. The ad said most finished in 4-6 months and you might have to go even less time if you are a CNP or the like. Get this, said transcription unusual in that many companies provide FULL benefits including paid vacations, sick leave, health insurance, retirement fundus and sign on bonuses for-  dahdah  INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS.  How sick is that and how pathetic for them to advertise something that most companies do not know the first thing about.

It then goes on to say that usually 6 hours are considered a full day for most of us (transcriptionists that is) and many work less - does not say anything about the huge numbers that are working 2 jobs or more just trying to make a living. Oh, don’t fall out of your chair but the capper is the ad says earnings are high enough that you can make a good living working a 30 hour week. The ad also goes on to say that places who need transcriptionists are usually posting them only with training places such as theirs, knowing they will get the trained people they need, not using the internet or newspapers for listing jobs anymore.

I was so ticked by reading this that I tried personally to call this so called Christian school, twice in fact and both times was told they were too busy and to leave my number. Talk about really false advertising. Someone should turn them into better business for this malarky.
