posted about never would they work for 7 cpl as IC. It must be nice to be able to choose your pay. I have personally been so close to being homeless more than a few times that I grab what I can when I can. I am always looking for the better-paying job. Of course, that could mean the dictators are awful or the platform is bulky or my boss is rude. I personally would rather work for 7 cpl as an IC and get 200+ lines per hour than 9 or even 10 cpl being lucky enough to make 120 lph.

You can do both, get 9 to 10 cpl and 200+ lph. - me

I work for a small MTSO and make 11 cpl and average 240+ lph, and lines are pretty easy to get.

I would do whatever it took to provide for my family, but you never know the situation until you take a position. I know there are many companies that pay more than 7 cpl as an IC and even as an employee, so I would keep looking, but I would take the 7 cpl short-term if needed.

I read the posts too about refusing to work for peanuts and how if we'd all refuse to then line rates would go up, but if we could afford not to work I best there would be a lot of us not working.

I found this job by accident. Company is small and doesn't advertise, except by word of mouth. They aren't hiring though.

A long time ago before my computer crashed I used to have a website I went to often if I could only make out a few letters in a medication and if those were in the middle of the drug. Example - if the drug was Sandostatin and I could only make out "and" or "stat", I'd type in and or stat and the site would bring up all drugs with those letters in them.
