Help! Shortcut word expander won't work right with Editscript - Dana

Has anyone had any problems using the Shortcut for Windows word expander with the Editscript platform? It's always worked fine in the past when I used to use Voicescribe. It also works fine in everything else currently that I use. When I expand a word it in Editscript, the expanded word moves back a couple spaces and cuts off the previous word I had typed. It works fine in Word by itself. I just don't get it.
If anybody can help, I'd greatly appreciate it!
See if there is a verify window check box - This was used for Shorthand
[ In Reply To ..]For shorthand, I had to uncheck the verify target window and it worked fine in Editscript. There is also a list of do's to fix various expander problems with Editscript.
eScription EditScript
This is the recommended Shorthand setting for EditScript:
In Shorthand, choose Preferences from the File menu.
Check "Verify target window receives keystrokes."
Change the "Pause" right above that to "Pause 100 msec after every 1 keystrokes."
Select (check) the "Simulate Clipboard Paste if Text Only" box.
Click OK to save your changes.
Click the HIDE button to activate Shorthand.
Microsoft Word, by default,automatically adds an extra space after the first character of expansions if you select the "Simulate Clipboard Paste if Text Only" as the Shorthand text transfer method.
To disable the automatic spaces in Word 2010:
In MS Word, click the File tab (found at the top left corner of your MS Word window) and then click Options on the bottom of the File Options pane.
On the left pane, select Advanced.
Under the "Cut, copy and paste" section, uncheck the "Use smart cut and paste" box.
To disable the automatic spaces in Word 2007:
Click the Office button (the large round button on the upper left corner)
Click Word Options (at the bottom of the menu).
On the left pane, select Advanced.
Under the "Cut, copy and paste" section, uncheck the “Use smart cut and paste" box.
I don't know if this will work or not for your situation.
Question: You said you had to UNCHECK the - verify target window and SM

[ In Reply To ..]If you go to the company website for Shortcut, there is something it tells you has to be disabled on your computer for some programs, I had to do it for mine and it works fine now but don't remember what it was I disabled, think it is under FAQ. if you cannot find it e-mail me and I will locate it for you.

I just started an account using EditScript today and I can't seem to get my Sylvan ShortCut program to work with it. It works sometimes and not others and very slowly, showing one letter at a time.
