Has anyone gotten so depressed about how their transcription jobs are practically gone that they don't even want to sign in. This morning I said why bother. I am thinking of quitting because I waste time just sitting for eight hours. I would have to cut back big time but it is getting to depressing to sit here.

because I know that no matter how hard, long, or fast I work, my paycheck continues to shrink. Compounded by the fact that each month, a greater percentage of my workload is VR.

Whoever came up with the idea that VR work is somehow "easier", and therefore "worth less money", should be hung up by his or her thumbs out in the hot sun, and left to shrivel up and die.

DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. You can let it get you down, wallow in it, and then come on here and seek out others to whine with..........or you can take a deep breath, get out of the house for a while, and reassess your situation and morph into something that gets you going.

I just started with a new company and am really depressed about the "corrections" I am getting back from their QA. I have 35+ years of experience and yet I can't seem to do anything to please them. I have been a stay at home mom since my son was born. During that time I also became a cancer survivor(ovarian). When my son started kindergarten, I decided to go back to school. I have never felt more worthless in my life. I work for about half the pay, it takes longer to do because the drafts are so awful. You get marked down if you don't use shortcut keys to navigate or whatever and the object is to keep you fingers on the keyboard, but you cannot keep them in the position you need to for transcribing or fixing all the problems.
