Question about testing for coding certifications

And/or coding training of any kind invited to test? It is such a big company, there has to be some with coding experience/school/certifications. Will that factor in to the process? Anybody know? ...

I am not associated at all with MM, but been reading all the posts on the testing going on this week for coding. After the news about bankruptcy for MM last weekend, and then immediately the testing for coding, it has been a very stressful week for all of those working there. I would like to send a nice pat on the back to all of you. I became certified in September of last year and am still applying for coding positions. I just completed an 8-page coding assessment and I used the 2012 CPT and ICD-9-CM books I have now. I am wondering if there is a way to find codes for 2013 to add to my 2012 books without having to buy new books at $$$. ...

It is truly laughable that MQ expects US MTs to jump through hoops, passing their tests, audits, trying to decipher absolute garbage and paying us like we were 6 month trainees, etc., and then have the audacity to send work to India.
