Was wondering if anyone had feedback on getting  hired at imedat.

VERBATIM to the boot. Heaven forbid you insert "an, a, the, or whatever or leave it out. Docs are dictating on their cell phones and even though most are American docs, still very hard to understand. Emdat platform and you have to use a very clunky IM program. When you work, have to be logged in. Seems IMPOSSIBLE to get off QA status

oops my typo -- also account specs on one "particular account: change every 5 days to a week or so. If you DON'T adhere to what they wannt -MAJOR QA dings similar to Nuance or MM in that regard.

I agree with nn. It is very hard to hear every word that is being dictated. The sound quality is pathetic. Impossible to make a decent line count. Pay is on time though. Had to throw a positive in there.

It's funny how now, payment on time is - considered a "perk". Used to be a given.

Any organization that can't (or won't) pay its employees in full, and on time, should be avoided at all costs, because there is something seriously wrong with them if they can't do that one thing right.

I work on the ortho account. I'm a highly experienced MT and I want to tell them to kiss my patootie. Yes, they change the rules on a weekly basis. Yes, QA is extreme and I'm sorry. I've done this a long time and the crap they are slamming your QA for is just NOT important stuff. Like it's a critical error to not mark a report for review-- that had no reason to be reviewed. And if you want to question QA you have 15 hoops to jump through and if you don't jump thru them your response is not an answer to your questions but rather another email from S giving you a copy of the QA question protocol. (I think I know have 8 or 9 of these.) It's insane. I've been trying to do it as my full time job but I have other accounts where I can put the time in, not have QA kill the reports (I mean because THEY say there was an "a" in there and you didn't hear it, sorry, my ears are pretty dang good). Not likely to continue with them much longer.

I so agree. I have over 30 years experience in this business and have dealt with the "worst of the worst" in terms of dictators. I use Breakaway to boost up my sound and I have NEVER had the problems "hearing things" like I have on this particular account. "S" sent out an email yesterday stating the protocol for blanks, and yet last night, I received feedback stating that I had not "commented" on the blanks that were sent. There were things that I have typed, which were "crossed out" and the EXACT same thing that I typed was reinserted -- what gives with that? When I asked "S" about it; her response to me was that they were having problems with the platform. I have gotten to the point where I am going back and relistening and I DO find mistakes that I have made, but to have things TOTALLY changed is way beyond me. I would really like to know the "experience" of some of these doing the QA and the ONE thing that I have noticed is that if I go back to listen to a report after it has been QA'd, the sound quality is MUCH better.

Had along conversation (meeting) with the HR person or possibly owner regarding this company and what they had to offer.  I was STUNNED.  (By the way, none of her seeker posts have the ability to post a reply only to post through email - does she not want others posting their shock as to her offer?  She has a new account that many MTs will be "off QA in a couple of weeks".  Timeframes in this business are never absolute and can get extended infinitely. I got feedback on a report today, CRITICAL FEEDBACK.  The doctor dictating was absolutely horrible, worse than horrible. I could not understand him, tried my hardest and before I uploaded it sent a note to QA asking for a sample of his work, explained that I could NOT UNDERSTAND HIM.  In reviewing the revisions, I don't agree with many of them.  I still don't hear what the QA inserted.  I dont' agree with it and I'm angry that it was returned to me with C ...

I'm so happy!  I got my audit, passed with flying colors and got an email from sup saying good work and keep it up!  He also suggested that I submit for a raise since I've been consistent.  I said I didn't know that we could, but apparently we can if we maintain that 98% average consistently for a certain amount of time.  I'm submitting my request as it has been over a year that I have maintained this.  Wow! learn something new every day with the Q!& ...

I started with MModal a month or so ago and I am noticing that MME feedback is not consistent.  One will cross out dictation in the document that another will leave (like service or surgeon or primary doc). Also,  "myself/himself/herself" should not be changed?   I have to admit that one was a shock.  It is just soooooo wrong.  ...

M-Modal Feedback

Would appreciate feedback from anyone using M-Modal, especially Webmedx Enterprise MTs. Dreading the conversion and wondering if my fears are well founded. I'm pretty fast straight typing but rarely get more than 50 lines more an hour with current VR. Seems all it takes is just one lousy report to negate the lines made on the decent reports. Afraid it's just going to be worse with M-Modal and the whole drop-down heading thing. Anyone have any encouragement to offer? ...
