accentus pay schedule - seeking MT

Does anyone know what the pay schedule is for accentus? monthly, weekly, bi-weekly? do they do a hold back week? any information would be appreciated. Thanks!

The pay is every 2 weeks, I get direct deposit, and it is deposited every other Friday. I'm not sure about the first week, it seems to me that I was paid right away. Just a warning though, they can't guarantee you any pay rates, as Nuance is now in charge, although so far changes have not been made, but I am SURE they are coming (and it WON'T be a pay increase!)

I agree, we haven't seen any changes YET but I'm sureeee they are coming. Nuance has done so with every other company they've gobbled up so it's really a no-brainer that they will with us as well. If they institute the rates that have been quoted on this board (8.25 for straight and 4.25 or so for VR) this will be a SIGNIFICANT cut from what Accentus currently pays, at least I know for me it will mean anywhere between a $250-$400 per month pay cut....not good

for sure. Probably will not be mentioned to you by anyone until ready to take effect. After all, wouldn't want the livestock to get agitated. If you have ever seen a herd of frightened cows, ya know what I mean, best to give them a bit of time to calm down before you attempt to handle them further. Ha, ha.

As a Nuance MT, you better know pay cuts are coming along with a lot of other things you will not like. I currently have 6 accounts (all with different specs) and run out of work pretty consistently. That is the only consistent thing about Nuance.
Also I have been trained on more than 10 accounts in the time I have been with Nuance, only to see some of them "poof, totally gone." Seems like a waste of time.
I hope you got a good TL because that makes a lot of differece too.
At the job before Nuance, I could edit 3000+ lines per day, but they make sure you WILL NOT get that. How did I go from being a great MT to one just barely hanging on? NUANCE.

they have a horrid reputation, I do at least have good cpl rates and get along fairly well there.
Even though MM is big, I still hope and pray they never get bought out by Nuance. Some here say that they will be the last two standing, but at this rate who knows. I couldn't live off what Nuance pays even with another part-time gig on the side.
I work on Saturday second shift on the west coast, so their Sunday EST maintenance period falls at 9 pm on Saturday night here. I've got other things to do on Saturday day than start work several hours early every single every other weekend. I've got a social life too. ...

I am curious how frequently QA is performed at your hospital.
We had been on a 2-reports-reviewed-quarterly schedule, but it seems QA is being pushed further and further onto the back burner because we've been so busy.
My boss would like for me to get a feel for what others are doing out there. I've worked at some hospitals that didn't do QA, ever, so I didn't have anything I could tell her.

Can anyone answer a question about this new procedure? I want to swap a shift for next week but having trouble understanding this new process. I guess if you want to work a different shift on a particular day, you would first need to post yours and make sure someone takes it before you claim another as you might end up working both - correct? So, our CCM sent out an e-mail that she has received a directive that if we are not working our exact schedule, we are going to receive an oral warning and then be performance managed.

I guess this is just a question to those who have been part of a Nuance merger in the past. Were you able to keep the schedule you were working before the merger, or were you herded into the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift spots? I work split shift over two of them right now. Anyone allowed to keep working M-F after a merger?
