There should be a warning out there about this company!  I read the reviews and I thought, well they must have gotten their act together by now.  Apparently not.....I have worked for them for 3 months and have only been paid once and that was for 1 week......I really needed the job and really need the money......I feel like an idiot...what they do not know is my daughter is an attorney in L.A. and she works for the District Attorney there....

There are MANY warnings about this company on this board. Did you check this board before you went to work for them? There have been posts about these people for months.

Yes, she read the reviews first, as did I when I started working for them. Apparently MTs in general are too nice and want to give DIT the benefit of the doubt. I stopped working for them after my first paycheck didn't show up on time, which was in March 2010. Just recently they finished paying what they owed me, but so many other MTs are still owed money, thousands of dollars. There's only one thing DIT is good for, and that is for gaining experience. If pay isn't a consideration, they're very good as far as feedback on work. But in my opinion, they should be put out of business for fraud.

Same with NEMT in Connecticut, now THR solutions. Five months behind and now getting one two week check per month. Things are hard all over but they knew my husband was laid off and without a job for 18 months. Now I get about one hour of work a day. Will be calling that number posted.

Makes no sense - Nonpaying company

If you read the reports of NONPAYMENT why on earth would you even CONSIDER applying?

If a company is on here multiple times (as they have been) as nonpaying, what possesses someone to think- HEY, IT'LL BE DIFFERENT CAUSE I'M ME.

Truly unbelievable. As long as they can get gullible people, they'll keep getting all sorts of free labor.

We as MTs, Editors, managers, HAVE to start holding these companies accountable for these kinds of practices, including, not paying overtime to employees working over 40 hours per week, not paying minimum wage, and expecting ICs to work as employees and pay our own taxes!

I hope that your daughter can get the ball rolling, someone needs to! I've been ripped off myself, and WILL not work for a company that has one bad post, you are only inviting trouble. Once trouble, always trouble!

I have a sinking feeling that I have beened scammed by a transcription company.  Anyone else out there feel the same way?   I have worked the necessary 6 weeks (sounded fishy to me from the start) before getting my first paycheck. I have done exceptional work for a great doctor.  I have yet to see any money.  I really like this job, but am scared that I have been taken for a ride.  I pray that this is not the case.  Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Ava ...

Wonder If I'm Being Scammed

Has anyone applied with accuray.com? I interviewed with an Anthony but he gave a gmail address and wanted me to download yahoo messenger to conduct the interview. On the computer equipment he said they would pay part of it but wants a fairly huge downpayment sent either Moneygram or Western Union, so pretty skeptical of that. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. ...

Think I Have Been Scammed By MT Company
Dec 13, 2010

I am disparate for work so I sent my info/paperwork to a company Friday so that I can start training today and they have not contacted me over the weekend or today.  I have called them and emailed them and have not gotten a reply either way.  I am worried.  Should I assume they are ruining me?  Or are they caught in that awful snowstorm and have no electric and cannot contact me even by cell phone?  I don't buy that excuse.  What should I do at this point?  ...

Have You Been Scammed By Tonya Hubley And/or Omniscribes????

Doing research on how to get this woman to stop stealing from her MTs, I called the Bexar County Sheriff's Office in San Antonio, TX. If you are not getting your money go directly to your local Sheriff's Office and file a Sheriff's Report there. Your County Sheriff will forward the complaint/report on to Bexar County. There they will bring theft charges against this crooked woman who likes padding her own bank account with her MTs hard-earned wages! ...
