QUESTION ABOUT FULL TIME/BENEFITS - Hyper-Typer

I was just wondering--if you are required to put out a certain number of lines to be considered full-time and the company you are working for does not suppy you with the amount of work needed to be considered full-time, then what happens with your benefits?

I am trying to weigh the pros and cons of everything before I even start applying. Any comments about this would be greatly appreciated.

You have to average 9250 lines per 2-week pay period to keep your benefits. If work is really slow (and documented as slow), they do not penalize you as far as benefits go.

Everyone is different. My company requires average - of 1200 lines per day. NM

At SS, you have to have 35 hours a week. No work equal no hours equals no benefits. nm - Pfooey

I found out that if you do not have enough work, and your wages fall below minimum required for your state, the company you are working for has to make up the difference in your pay. Say you should be making $9 per hour, and you don't have enough work and it falls below minimum wage, say $7, the company makes up that difference in pay, and by law they have to do that. My company requires a line count of 15,000 lines per pay period.
