hire on with Accentus!! Not only will they load your PC with junk software that will make it crash (mine has 3 times so far), but they will be rude and claim you abandoned your job!! Very rude staff and the poster below is an owner. I am just trying to warn others. That is my last word on the issue.

Sorry but it just seems odd, others have posted here about Accentus over the last few weeks and said what a great company it is to work for - they seem to be loved by their employees from what I can see. In fact I'm supposed to start with them on Monday and so far everyone has been super nice and helpful. Granted, I haven't downloaded the software yet and will be doing that this weekend in time for my training on Monday so I will post back if it causes any trouble on my PC.

It was those spam videos that were on Facebook recently that did ya in. ;-)

Seriously...no company is going to load a virus into an employee or IC's computer. It is simply just not cost effective.

I doubt it is intentional but it could be - incompatible software

Well, I doubt very seriously it would be intentional, but it could also be possible that their software isn't compatible with something you already have loaded - maybe your antivirus software or some other program isn't compatible with theirs and might be creating a problem. Have you contacted their Technical Support to try and get to the root of the problem?

accentus/Transolutions platform - anon

Ok, I am NOT an owner and I have posted in the past. I hired on with Transolutions (now Accentus) about 6 months ago. I have been overall happy with them. The platform I use may be different than yours, depending on what part of Accentus you signed on with. I use Apex, and there are detailed directions for downloading this program to your computer. It DOES require that you use an old version of Java, and detailed directions are included. It also requires that you NOT use the latest IE browser. I spent quite a while printing out all the directions and downloading it a step at a time, and I have had no problems whatsover with my computer crashing. I do wish they would upgrade it, it is not the best MT-friendly platform, IMO, BUT I like the company and am able to make a fair wage, much better than other big MTSO, and the insurance rates are much better. IMO! I would say don't run from them, give them a fair shake, and be sure to follow their directions when downloading the program!

Can someone help me get a job there? I am a very hard worker, not afraid of ESL, stick to my schedule, QA 99-100%. I just finished the test, but I was wondering how they grade, based on what, because I didn't get a chance to explain things like headings, use of BOS (using mL for cc, is that already expected throughout the industry) or was everything supposed to be strict verbatim? I am now down to 3 companies (from 4) trying to make a living at this, wondering what I should do next. I'd like to go get my coding diploma and move on from there as I cannot take this anymore. Fellow team members yahoo IDs? Or is it frowned upon? My company frowns on interacting with fellow employees. It makes you feel so isolated though. It is very disheartening to hear what has happened to our fellow MTs who have recently been terminated by Transcend. FT IC Radiology Per minute 0.95 per minute until out of QA 1.05 per minute following release from QA 600 minute minimum per pay period. Above 120 minutes = 1 and 1/2 x 1.05 per minute I have over 15 years of experience. What is your opinion on the ICD-9 Procedure code for an infusion of Remicade for rheumatoid arthritis or Crohn's disease? Since this is considered a high-risk drug, the CPT codes are in the antineoplastic category. But matching up a ICD-9 is not clear. Since Remicade is a biologic response modifier you can go down that path. It is also a monoclonal antibody, so you can go down that path. So far I have come up with 99.28, 99.25, 00.18, and the usual 99.29. ...
