Johnson Medical Group info - downtime

I just saw an online ad for Johnson Medical Group. The ad says you can make up to 4K a month and says the more you work, the more you earn (well, obviously, but apparently it's up to you how much you work). They seem to prefer entry level people and have a training program, but also hire those with experience. You have to buy their software for $300. Looks like all positions are IC. Anyone have any knowledge of them?

I would not work for anyone who wanted me to "buy" their software. This sounds like a scam to me. "Make up to 4K" is a red light to me. A dollar is "up to" 4K.

I have seen them all over the internet too. As far as I can tell, it keeps redirecting you to some education sites, like it's some kind of medical transcription training, so it sounds kind of like a scam or a way for them to profit off folks needing a job.

Any company wanting you to purchase software would be a big red flag to stay away. You should never have to purchase equipment/software to work for a company. Some legitimate companies will rent their equipment, such as a computer, but never would a legitimate company require you to pay for software, though they may require a certain version of Word.

It sounds like a deal when a friend promised to get me a date with George Clooney. Funny, he never called. Please, please, please, people, don't fall for these things. Thousands of people (many of them single mothers) got burned by an organization called TranSCAM. This sounds like a similar deal. Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it is.
