InterPro Transcription - need info fast! /sm - sammie

Any info on InterPro Transcription based in Arizona - good or bad? Anyone ever worked for them or even heard of them? Need to make decision soon. Had never heard of them. First pay period is paper check which for some reason makes me nervous! Nothing in archives... TIA

Pay is on time. My direct deposit was set up for the first pay period so one paper check then direct deposit must be something new. Supervisors leave you alone unless you are getting feedback. They are pretty quick to respond if you have a question too. I actually have work during the hours I told them I wanted to work which is nice. I also like it because if ever I'm not able to work, I just need to let them know and they don't make me feel guilty about it. There seems to be plenty of work to go around. Extra help is sometimes called for on the account I work on. A few MTs have posted negative remarks on this board but their experience hasn't been mine.

Seriously! Many companies do this to ensure you are paid on time and not held up by payroll getting direct deposit set up.

For heaven's sakes, give it a rest beating up every service out there already.

Not trying to "beat up" on company. Just extra cautious. Have taken a position with a company in the past, was promised direct deposit after first paper check, worked two weeks, continued working another week while waiting on check, and guess what? "Check is in the mail" for almost six more weeks! Finally received pay for all work done after much hassle with the company. The direct deposit had never been set up even though I had submitted bank info to them. Had to wait an additional two weeks for final check. Too much stress! My bad for not checking that company out but was desperate for work. Should not have to beg for wages earned. I had never heard of InterPro so just wanted a little feedback from anyone who had been there. Is that so wrong?!!

I also work for Interpro and like it there just fine. I dont think you were bashing anyone either, just being cautious like I am now because I have been burned in the past. They do pay on time with no problems, plenty of work, feedback is good, and system is easy.

I have worked for this company for 6 months, and I am about to quit. I was reading some posts about Fast Chart Transcription were people said they were getting 7 cents a line with them. I don't know when that was, but she started me at 3 cents a line. I want to warn all who look for jobs on this site of a company to be aware of - Interpro Services, Inc out of Arizona. They are ruthless, have the worst dictators in the industry and management could not care less whether you make any money or not. When you complain, you get "your contract terminated".
