360 transcription - Any info - Lucy

Any info on this company. Pay, etc.? They have 2 very long tests. It is a waste of my time if they pay bum wages and are a bum company. Any info would help. TIA.

Pay in line with industry (guess that's good and bad), all straight transcription, professional, demand high quality, pay on time, appreciative management.

They don't do SR, only straight typing. I made 9 cpl. nm - Good company

Worked there a month before quitting. Their pay is above average. Management is friendly overall, though with some miscommunication-related rudeness ("Can you get this done by Monday?" "I'll do my best." *Monday comes* "Hi, did you get it done?" "No, sorry, I wasn't able to." "(your name here), I need to trust that you will do things that you say you will." *no element of understanding whatsoever*) <- obviously paraphrased, not verbatim, but a key reason I quit. Another key reason was their fanatical proofing standards. It is good for newbies because you will learn a LOT (by being marked up) from the proofer. However, it will be a while before you get off proofing, if ever, and your pay rate goes up 1 cpl. They are so picky on proofing that even if you join them having high grammatical standards, you will find yourself wondering why they would possibly care about things that even an English major probably wouldn't care about.

The last key reason I quit was because of their terrible platform (on my first day (again, paraphrased): "Great, you've installed the software. Be prepared to call customer support, because you will have tech problems. Here's the number."

Oh yeah, they also do a lot of their communication by phone, so be prepared to talk a lot.

Overall friendly management and atmosphere, though. You could do a lot worse, so it's worth considering.

about this company, ever heard of this company? I have googled them and can find "pieces" of their website but no official website. When I googled a bit further I found them to also be named S&N Transcription. Okay, if that is not odd enough, when I googled the address that is listed for the company it comes up with a totally different name, something with stables in it and states that it is some type of daycare center.
