was a board to vent about/warn other MTs about certain companies. Why then, when I warn everyone about DSG (stating what they did to me and because of them not getting food stamps) does it get deleted? Does DSG own this board or do they just have a lot of pull for whatever reason? I really have to wonder since I am not the only one they have done this to.

In all this time you have sat here and whined about it you could have been looking for another job. There are plenty out there. I am on the verge of losing my house, but I have 3 jobs and trying to prevent it. Life sucks, govt won't give you free food, wish I had that problem, I am like most of America and have to work for my food, it's not handed to me. I work for DSG never had an issue so as stated always 2 sides to every story. If you have an issue with food GET A JOB!

Give a person a break, we surely do everyone else. She has 2 kids and life sucks. If she thinks that this company is not wanting to be named and thinks it is 'unfair' well, they have the time and money to correct the issue, or get her help...whatever. No need for people in America to go hungry. We open our boarders and help everyone else. Stop being an MT who shows she shold never work inhouse with people, nor work in a hospital setting that should have compassion above and beyond. Check out the people now who get section 8 and the cars they drive. People know how to beat the system. Not easy out there nowadays at all.

Your post makes a lot of sense. Even though you claim to be employed by the same company (that has never given you problems and yet you're broke?) and are a wonder woman who works 3 jobs (the epitome of awesomeness), you are still on the verge of losing your house?? Give me a break. Lash out elsewhere and stop blaming MTs for the lousy state of this industry and the fallout from it. What you refer to as whining is what some of us have to do in this line of work... swallow our pride and ask for help in order to FEED OUR KIDS because we're either paid squat or lose our job.

Surprised you have time to post on an MT board with those 3 jobs you have. Get typing and DO YOUR JOB(S)!

I work 3 jobs because I WORK for my food and my teenage daughters, single parent with no govt help or spousal support so that's why I'm about to lose my house. If I sat on my butt and didn't work then yep maybe I could get food stamps and help but I don't. As you know in this business there is only so much work at one time, it's either feast or famine so I have to keep my hands in more than 1 job to make sure there always is work to do and I don't run out and don't have a paycheck coming in. So no, no sympathy here, I work hard to do what I have to for my family, not whine because the govt won't help me.

Get over yourself. Again, when it comes to feeding your family, you sometimes have to swallow your pride and ask for help to hold you over. You have some nerve trying to put someone down who is having hard times. Get over yourself. You're not as awesome as you think.

Wanna get angry.... try directing your anger where it belongs... to the ones who have destroyed this profession and turned it into an on-line sweat shop. Most of us are able to collect assistance and/or partial unemployment beacuse of the lousy cpl/NJA even though WE WORK 40 HOURS A WEEK.

What does a previous company (employment) have to do with obtaining aide and food stamps? I'm confused. Thought previous employment only affected unemployment benefits not financial aide through the government.

I'm normally a very compassionate person, but that convoluted tale she kept spinning about quitting/not really quitting, withholding pay info (isn't this what check stubs are normally used for?), ad nauseum, on more than one board that I kept waiting for her to slap up a PayPal Donation button, LOL.

Perhaps she's legitimate and just made some really inexplicably bad choices but...well, scammers at notorious for preying on generous people at this time of year and I'm probably a bit more skeptical than most when it comes to "internet hardship" tales...I was a member of one forum that had a WHOPPER of a scam run on it and cost a lot of members a lot of time, money, blood (literally, they were going to have blood drawn to see if they were a bone marrow match for the scammer), etc., so nothing would surprise me after that epic ordeal.

I think this was a very large account and they could have divided the MTs who had this as their primary and put them on various other accounts. Yes, this would have overstaffed those accounts and more MTs would be getting NJA as we all scrambled for what work there was.
