Heard of Athreon Transcription? - faiyth

Has anyone heard of Athreon Transcription or has anyone worked there? I just applied for a job there and would like more info about the job. It would be great if anyone had any info to share. Thanks.

Beware...you will have to jump through hoops and get a business license, school transcripts, get paid through PayPal and at that very little. You will go through QA from hell. Be sure you are up on every dot and dash in BOS 3. This person will pick apart everything. Good luck.

That is correct. You pay $1 a week for the software, but then PayPal also takes a % of your pay for processing. Yes that is all tax deductible, but you wait a year for that.

I worked for Athreon last year for a bit. QA is strict, but based on BOS (most recent version, another expense if you don't have access) and I managed to get through it and released. IC pays PayPal fees to receive payment, plus rental fee for Inscribe, which is free to use through other MTSOs. I was on 3 accounts and could not even make the minimum 200 lines a day. Docking time was a feeding frenzy. All Athreon company representatives are known by their first names only, which seemed a little creepy. A business license depends on your state's or even county's definition. You basically just need an official document stating your DBA name and an IRS tax ID, which is free and easy to get online. If you need work, an interval filler until the next opportunity, it is okay. They do pay on the days they state they will.
